John Kundly has had a profound and lasting impact on my life through his leadership and mentorship. I truly believe that God made our paths cross for a reason. He was one of the first people to believe in me and guide me toward my potential when I didn’t have many male role models to look up to after losing my father at a young age. Growing up selling copper in Africa and later living in a Brooklyn neighborhood surrounded by gang violence, I didn’t always see a clear path forward, but John changed that. He helped me build my first business, kick-started my professional journey, and taught me what it truly means to be a great professional: disciplined, driven, and ethical. It’s been a true pleasure learning from him and experiencing his constant willingness to help, guide, and uplift others. The impact he’s had, and continues to have, in my life has inspired me to pay it forward, motivating my peers and kids from my old neighborhood in Brooklyn to believe that no matter where we come from or what challenges we face, we can become great professionals and achieve anything we want in life as long as we put in the work and keep faith in God’s plan
